3. Modulation in DSL
Modulation techniques play an important role in DSL technologies. There are several types of modulation:
amplitude modulation ;
frequency modulation ;
phase modulation.
The interested reader can refer to table 1, which summarizes the modulations used by the various standardized DSL technologies.
