The standard has been published under the title Systems and software engineering – Systems and software quality requirements and evaluation (SQuaRE) –– Quality requirements).

A first edition of the document was published in 2007. This document is therefore a second edition.

This document sets out the fundamental concepts relating to quality requirements. There are several categories of requirements.
