1. Railway dynamics simulations
The continuous horizontal and vertical movement of the wheel on
the rail generates displacements, velocities, accelerations and forces
at wheel-rail contact level and in the connection between the vehicle
parts. The Railway Dynamics
scope
is to define and validate
the vehicle design solutions, with particular attention on suspension
components, wheel-rail contact geometry, track-vehicle interaction
and the optimization of the different subsystems impacting or impacted
by the dynamic behaviour. The

is to keep the displacements,
accelerations and forces within the limits requested by standards
or by the customer, in order to assure the requested dynamic performances...
