4.1 Light vehicle regulations
The various regulations are becoming increasingly widespread throughout the world (see tables 69, 70, 71, 72, 73).
In Europe, Croatia, Iceland and Switzerland have aligned themselves with current European regulations.
The African continent seems to be lagging behind other continents. However, since 2008, it has been forbidden to import non-catalyzed vehicles into Tanzania, Zimbabwe and Malawi.
