2. Lorenz model for hydrodynamics

Atmospheric dynamics are governed by the equations of fluids and thermodynamics. We can see that meteorology has a complex behavior that appears "chaotic". In 1963 , Lorenz established a highly simplified model of the atmosphere that is highly sensitive to initial conditions. This property explains the chaotic behavior of his model's solutions.
