Andon

Various translations exist, highlighting either the means of alert (button, lamp), or the assistance to be provided to an operator encountering a problem. It's a process that organizes assistance to make it truly effective.

Self-check

Verification by the operator of the conformity of the work carried out in relation to the standard to be applied.

Capability

Characterization of a process' ability to achieve a compliant result. Statistical concept that compares the dispersion obtained with the tolerance allowed.

Corrective

An action that corrects the root cause of a problem, thus preventing recurrence.
