4. The three major challenges facing Supply-Chain Management

The three forces behind the development of Logistics, and later ML, are accelerating market changes in terms of demand and economic space, the rise of information and communication technologies and, more recently, sustainable development. These are still at work, and constitute the three major challenges facing SCM today, as it keeps a watchful eye on these three constantly evolving fields.

4.1 Incessant and accelerating market changes
