The choice of operating mode generally depends on :
product characteristics ;
material throughput ;
circuit length ;
the nature of the operations to be carried out;
the number of feed and reception points ;
available space, etc.
It should also be noted that, in most cases, the pressure or vacuum-generating machine dictates the concentration, which may be linked to the nature of the product.
