3. Choice of supply chain management performance evaluation models
Performance assessment models must be adapted to the organization's design models, relevant for assessing performance in line with value creation objectives, and whose implementation enables rapid appropriation by all players. These performance assessment models must also take into account value creation throughout the chain (figure 8 ).
In the context of supply chain management, the evaluation of a company's supply chain performance, whether on a local, international or global scale, is necessary for a number of reasons. The most obvious are the need to assess the supply chain's contribution to achieving value-creation objectives for the chain as a whole, as well as the need to satisfy customer requirements in terms of lead time, responsiveness and reliability....
