3. What to look for in an on-site compliance situation

To qualify for SA8000 social certification, third-party auditors need to be able to collect as much objective evidence as possible. Evidence of compliance and evidence of non-compliance.

3.1 Search for objective evidence

This must be confirmed visually, verified on documents, registers and other reports, and cross-checked through interviews with employees.
