2.1 Technical bodies and committees
Maintenance is a broad field which develops and applies diverse knowledge and skills. This partly explains why maintenance standards are published by several technical committees (TC) of different organizations. Figure 1 shows the standards bodies and TCs that publish general maintenance standards.
