4.1 Context

However, the disadvantage of all the above-mentioned practical applications is that they are too generic and cannot be applied to the exact job performed by the person concerned. This is why, over the past twenty years, CIMI, in collaboration with the "Approches" association, has developed a methodology for defining "job profiles", which enables us to define, on a case-by-case basis, the job held by a person, in a given context and in relation to a given organization. This methodology is most often used when defining future job profiles, which then represent the human dimension of the strategic and economic choices made by the company.
