3. Spare parts categories by destination
In short, a good, or a component of a good, can become incapable of fulfilling its required function, either through wear and tear, and the onset of this incapacity obeys Gauss's law, or accidentally, and in the latter case, Poisson's law applies. This leads us to distinguish two main categories of spare parts.
