3.1 Single fiber, Newtonian fluid: Jeffery theory

Jeffery calculated the motion in a Newtonian fluid of a single ellipsoidal-shaped fiber, whose length is small enough for the deformation velocity field to be homogeneous around it. He obtained the following equation for the evolution of the p vector:
