2. How we work

2.1 Projection

Simultaneous spraying is designed for the production of chopped-fiber-reinforced composites, and produces results very similar to chopped-fiber mats, a versatile form widely used in industry.

It's also true that the spray gun is used for other operations in composite manufacturing, notably the application of gel-coats and top-coats (filled resins), but also for wetting fabric-type reinforcement layers in mixed construction. These devices are only set up differently from those used for simultaneous spraying.

The trend is towards multi-purpose, modular equipment, so there's no reason why a single machine can't play several roles, depending on the type and intensity of production envisaged....
