2. Technical classification of products

Products are classified based on various characteristics that influence the type of process used. The classification shown in the table 3 is proposed by Hensen . This classification depends on the shape, the presence or absence of an enclosed chamber within the product, the possible use of multiple colors or materials, and the presence or absence of a material providing superior mechanical strength and rigidity (metal, wood, fiber).
