3. Examples of mortar production using recycled polymers
3.1 Raw materials
In the examples shown here, the raw materials used to manufacture the various types of mortar are cement, sand, polyurethane foam and water.
SCROLL TO TOPStandards EN 998-1 and EN 998-2 do not specify the types of cement to be used in these masonry mortars: they only mention the characteristics of the raw materials needed to obtain a finished product that complies with the requirements of the standard.
