Atmosphère Explosive ATEX; explosive armosphere ATEX

Mixture with air, under atmospheric conditions, of flammable substances in the form of gases, vapors or dusts in which, after ignition, combustion spreads to the entire unburned mixture.

Flash point

The lowest temperature of a liquid at which, under certain standardized conditions, it releases vapors in such quantities that a flammable vapor/air mixture can be formed.

Concentration of flammable gas, vapor or mist in air, below which an explosive gas atmosphere cannot be formed.
