1. Know the different treatment processes

The processing units of companies specializing in waste treatment are able to offer solutions for solid, pasty, liquid and gaseous waste.

1.1 Redox treatments

Often used in surface treatment plants, redox treatments are designed to detoxify wastewater. This treatment involves either an oxidizing agent (usually a chlorine or oxygen compound) or a reducing agent (usually sodium bisulfite).

For example, this treatment is used to oxidize cyanide solutions from surface treatment.
