7. Conclusions
Deposits of flammable liquids can generate dangerous phenomena in the event of a loss of containment at the facility. Due to the flammable nature of the products stored, the "classic" phenomena of fire and explosion are present. However, the specific nature of these facilities, particularly in terms of their very large cylindrical tanks, affects the way these phenomena unfold. Modeling these hazardous phenomena, even if based on approaches used elsewhere, therefore requires careful consideration of the specific features of these facilities.
