2.1 Special link with HAZOP

Although the completion of a HAZOP is not a sine qua non condition for carrying out a LOPA, when a LOPA is carried out following a HAZOP, certain HAZOP results constitute input data for the LOPA. In , the links between the data available at the end of a HAZOP and the data required for a LOPA are presented (figure 17 ).
