Flash point
Minimum temperature at which a fuel generates enough vapor to create an atmosphere that ignites in the presence of an ignition source, but insufficient to sustain combustion.
Flash point; fire point
Temperature (above the flash point) at which a fuel generates enough vapor to ensure sustained combustion after ignition by an ignition source.
Autoignition temperature
Temperature at which a mixture ignites in the absence of any ignition source.
