4. How does the loading process work?

Once the preliminary checks have been carried out, the actual loading operation can begin, paying particular attention to the following points:

• compliance with rules and good handling practices ;

• compliance with joint loading rules and any separation distances;

• compliance with good stowage practices.

Any special provisions in columns (16), (17) and (18) of ADR table § 3.2 identified in step 1 must also be taken into account.
