2. Development of transport regulations
The regulations governing the transport of radioactive substances fall within the scope of those governing the transport of dangerous goods, but present certain particularities in terms of international organization and technical provisions. This type of transport is subject to international regulations, whose multimodal nature (involving all modes of transport) sets out requirements for packaging and the way in which it should be used.
