1.1 Pre-definition of injection system on electric test bench

The aim is to select the injection pump and injectors that will :

  • inject the required flow at full load for an injection time that must not be excessive (do not exceed 35 to 40 crankshaft degrees), otherwise there is a risk of reduced efficiency and increased smoke;

  • inject for as long as possible at idle to reduce noise;

  • optimize the rate of introduction (the rate of introduction is the instantaneous flow rate injected, in cm...
