5. Conclusion

Test benches are needed to measure the performance of components or heat engines, and to correlate and feed the calculation codes used to simulate physical phenomena.

Furthermore, test benches are complex and costly machines, both in terms of installation and operation/maintenance, and this calls for rational and productive operation. All measured values must be indisputable, to enable technicians and engineers to correctly analyze operating modes and determine what modifications need to be made to faulty components.
