Acycling

Variations in the instantaneous torque delivered by the engine under different operating conditions. It depends on the number of cylinders in the engine, the time intervals between ignitions, the arrangement of the cylinders, the shape of the crankshaft and the ignition sequence adopted.

Drive train

The powertrain is the set of moving parts that transmit power from the engine to the receiver (the wheels). In the automotive industry, the powertrain includes the clutch, gearbox, differential and transmissions.
