2. Spatially resolved excitation processes

In these conditions, where chemical kinetics are controlled, there's no need to exploit multiphoton absorption systems, hence the use of continuous lasers to "work" the resin surface in the 1980s and 1990s. By opting for such a principle, the first process relied on the placement of layers, which committed the other processes to this principle of additivity (although this was not intended at the time).
