5. Quaternary alloys ZrSnFeNb

The alloys in this family, known as "quaternary ZrSnFeNb", were developed with the main aim of reinforcing the matrix by adding tin to enhance mechanical properties in the as-cast state and dimensional stability under irradiation. The commercial alloys in this family, or those under development (in italics), are listed in Table .
