Generic; generic

Qualifies an event likely to occur on all slices of the same family (tier, park).

Bearing; series

A family of "standardized" units, designed, built and operated in virtually identical fashion.

Park; fleet

All units belonging to the same operator or installed in the same country (in this booklet, capitalized Parc refers to the French nuclear fleet).

Slice; unit

A stand-alone power generation facility; a PWR-type nuclear unit comprises a nuclear part (the "reactor" or "boiler") and a non-nuclear (or "conventional") part.
