4. Corrosion of HA cell metal components
The long-term behavior of the metal components of the HA cell (linings and HA storage containers) is dominated by their corrosion. Figure 8 shows the metal components at a stage when they are still intact, with light corrosion (thin, uniform layer of corrosion products).
