4. Aerodynamic processes

A large number of different separation processes make use of gas dynamics. Apart from the diffusion of UF 6 gas through a porous wall and the centrifugation of this gas, two other aerodynamic processes have reached, in an uneven way, an advanced stage of development. These are the UCOR vortex separation process from South Africa and the nozzle separation process from E.W. Becker.

4.1 Vortex process
