The production range of flame furnaces is very wide, from 5 to 1,000 t/d; for example, there are :
5 t/d for a manual furnace with a surface area of 8 m 2 and a refractory lining mass of approximately 50 t ;
1,000 t/d for a high-capacity float furnace with a surface area of 1,100 m 2 and a refractory lining...
