9. Conclusion

We have seen in this document that the factors influencing the availability of daylight in interior spaces are very numerous.

For each of them, it's often quite intuitive to understand which direction to choose to maximize daylighting.

However, as has already been mentioned several times, other aspects of building physics, such as winter and summer heating, need to be integrated into the decision-making process.

Ultimately, the best projects are not necessarily the most spectacular, but rather those that succeed in offering occupants a "global comfort" in which daylight is an element whose control is coordinated with other issues.

For this reason, it's important to remember that the user, and in particular the activities he or she is expected to carry out in built spaces, must be at the heart...
