The choice of materials for flue construction depends on the nature and temperature of the combustion products for the usual fuels (coal, fuel oil, liquefied hydrocarbons, gas and wood).

Temperatures are 350°C for multi-fuel pipes (peak temperature 400°C for 1 h) or 200°C for special gas pipes (peak 250°C)....
