1.1 General

The complexity of understanding the rules to be followed for doors and gates stems in particular from the fact that several types of legislation, defining specific requirements for different products, are applicable.

To have an overall view of the technical requirements applicable to a particular product, it is therefore necessary to know which texts apply, bearing in mind that each has its own specific field of application.
