5. Eliminating nuisance in the ergorama

In ergoramas, the main visual nuisances are related to glare, accommodation and disruption of visual scans. These different causes of nuisance are often combined.

5.1 Ergorama glare

In the ergorama, glare is frequently "incapacitating". It is often due to poorly designed or badly located auxiliary lighting. Whenever possible, this can be corrected by removing the auxiliary lighting and increasing the general illuminance level at the workstation or in the room. However, care must be taken to avoid "obstructions", which are always possible due to the characteristics and resources of the activity, or to the operator himself.
