7. Innovative sealing products

For some years now, manufacturers have been offering "self-adhesive" waterproofing (cold installation).

Advantages: no need for EAC or blowtorch. It's easy to install, which saves a lot of time. It's also an excellent product for urgent roofing repairs.

There is a range of products distributed by SIPLAST: thin sheet "Adéply" in extruded bitumen elastomer for common surfaces, "Adéalu" with aluminum foil, or "Adécuivre" with copper foil, used for waterproofing upstands.

In the field of liquid waterproofing, laboratory work is now making it possible to benefit from new, higher-performance molecules with a longer service life.

Still on the subject of innovation, we can report that studies are currently underway to integrate flexible "photovoltaic" solar collector panels into waterproofing coatings....
