2. Principles

This instruction specifies the conditions to be met and the results to be obtained by the two smoke extraction systems defined below, in order to achieve the objectives defined above:

  • Solution A

    • Staircase blowing ;

    • Blowing and extraction in intercommunication devices ;

    • Blowing and extraction in the common horizontal circulation.

  • Solution B

    • Staircase blowing ;

    • Blowing into intercommunication devices ;

    • Passage of air between intercommunication devices and common horizontal circulation through a transfer port;
