Each apartment is separated from adjoining premises and shared horizontal passageways by 1 h or REI 60 fire-stop elements.

However, in addition to article GH 23 (section 5.1.3 of [TBA 3 051] ), door units in apartments opening onto shared horizontal corridors are flameproof to 1 h and fitted with a door closer or E 60-C.
