2. Health protection regulations
These regulations are set out in the French Labour Code (Part Four: Health and Safety at Work – Livre V: Prévention des risques liés à certaines activités ou opérations – Titre III: Bâtiment et génie civil) and in the decrees of July 10, 1913, December 2, 1998 and September 1 er 2004. In texts prior to the 1990s, the term used was "hygiene".
Law no. 93-1418 of December 31, 1993 relating to building and public works operations provides for the definition, construction and destination of these facilities by the design coordinator.
On a large construction site, it's a good idea to set up a medical bungalow to monitor workers' health, but also to be able to intervene quickly in the event of a minor injury or accident.
