5.1 Architecture in harmony with nature and culture

Maintaining technological and cultural diversity can undoubtedly provide answers to a range of crises from which humanity is suffering:

• energy crisis, depletion of fossil fuels ;

• crisis in the production of manufactured materials, increasingly expensive and inaccessible to a large part of the world's population;

• development crisis, need to create jobs ;

• cultural identity crisis, our architecture and landscapes are becoming commonplace;

• housing crisis: 50% of the world's population is poorly housed;
