1. Sealing protection
Waterproofing and its associated insulation must be protected; there are three classic types of protection:
protection by slabs on blocks laid directly on the waterproofing ;
protection with tiles laid directly on the waterproofing ;
hard, heavy protection with concrete or cement screed.
