1.1 Tiling
The standard NF P05-011 approved in August 2019, which supersedes the 2005 XP P05-011 standard, classifies premises according to their slip resistance. The new standard applies to all private, public and industrial premises, as well as to food production facilities.
Whatever the floor covering, the standard defines a requirement for bare feet (BF) and shod feet (SW).
The new standard specifies the slipperiness class for swimming pools, whereas there is already a European classification for these establishments. There are therefore two AFNOR-approved standards for the same premises: one with European requirements, the other with French criteria....
