ADSL; Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line

ADSL stands for "digital subscriber line". This technology enables the coexistence on the same line of a telephone channel, a high-speed downstream channel (for downloading) and a medium-speed upstream channel (for uploading).

Malicious act

A malicious act is one carried out with the intention of causing harm.

DNA (marking)

This is a solution containing a unique DNA code, intended for use in marking intruders. The solution contains a fluorochrome molecule attached to synthetic DNA. The sprayed solution is invisible to the naked eye. This indelible marking becomes visible when subjected to ultraviolet light (blue fluorescence).
