Clearly, there is no such thing as exclusively solar thermal energy, apart from the evaluation of solar deposits. Any interaction with solar radiation is part of heat transfer, which is analyzed in the classic way, using three modes of heat exchange: conduction, convection and radiation. Before going any further into heat transfer, let's recall what temperature and heat are.
