6. Conclusion

In this article, we have seen how :

• retrieve the Android™ device's photo sensor features;

• preview images from this sensor ;

• capture any image ;

• analyze each image in different ways:

  • using pre-trained models,

  • by designing our own model.

The success of Android™ is no longer in doubt, and this system continues to have a bright future. In 2017, the Android™ operating system had two billion active devices worldwide. At the I/O 2022 conference, Google announced that Android™ had just reached 3.3 billion active devices worldwide, and more than two million apps offered for download.
