Function description

This function is central to the DMAM system, as it ensures its ultimate objective:

  • manage media data and metadata;

  • make it possible to search and retrieve media elements for distribution.

2.1 Metadata management

During the production-distribution process, metadata is collected, processed, presented, disseminated and used. The possible treatment of metadata is listed for the main stages of the process, indicating the operational benefits and burdens at each point.
