2. Operational benefits of active antennas

The concept of the active antenna is becoming increasingly widespread, as the possibilities offered by current and future technologies are matched by the operational benefits they provide.

It's true that the requirements of radar systems are more conducive to this than those of telecommunications systems.

So, depending on the systems for which they are intended, the order of priority or importance of active antenna contributions will differ. There is therefore no hierarchy in the following presentation.
