1.1 Signal processing and antenna processing

The joint processing of signals received by a network of sensors is a branch of signal processing whose particularity would seem to lie solely in the vectorial nature of the signals manipulated. However, in the case of signals carried by waves propagating in a medium, the problem presents specificities which, over time and with use, have led to a particular technical branch, with its own specific vocabulary: antenna processing.
